Allan Zukerman

Co-Managing Director

Allan Zukerman is the driving force behind Boots on the Ground Local Marketing. With over 50 years of experience in restaurant marketing and ownership of restaurants and franchises, Allan is an award-winning industry expert. He has collaborated with numerous corporations and small family-owned eateries and boasts an unrivaled network of contacts.

Joining Allan on this journey at Boots on the Ground Local Marketing is his son, Steve Zukerman.  Steve, an acclaimed video producer, and director, spent most of his adult life in Los Angeles working on TV shows, films, documentaries, and video marketing. 

The Zukerman family is not the only talent at BOTG Local Marketing. They have assembled a remarkable team, including graphic designers, content managers, press agents, SEO specialists, and web designers, many of whom have previously worked with or against Allan. This diverse group of experienced professionals and young talents from various backgrounds is dedicated to helping your restaurant, brand, or franchise stand out from the competition.

BOTG is neither a short-lived endeavor nor one mired in outdated practices. Rather, it is a well-structured organization that employs local marketers living in your area to ensure swift and comprehensive results. Steve is a highly skilled multimedia professional and social entrepreneur who has been based in Los Angeles since 1996. His extensive experience includes working as a director, producer, writer, cinematographer, and editor on a variety of restaurant-themed projects. These include high-profile shows such as the hit Fox Network TV series “Hell’s Kitchen”, and The Food Network’s “Restaurant Stakeout”.

As the founder of his company Soapbox, Steve has partnered with Books That Cook Publishing to produce engaging TV spots and web content that showcase the stories of numerous restaurateurs. These include popular establishments such as TAPS Fishhouse & Brewery, Squealers Barbecue, Mirabelle, Rioja, Stir Crazy Asian Grill, Spaghetti Warehouse, and MCL Restaurant and Bakery.

Currently, Steve is working on an exciting behind-the-scenes series and managing social media, design, and crowdfunding for an upcoming feature film being produced by legendary guitarist “Slash” of the band Guns N’ Roses. In addition, he is partnering with Svedka Vodka and The Alamo Drafthouse to create a special pop-up film screening event. With his diverse skill set and extensive experience in the restaurant industry, Steve is a valuable asset to any team looking to elevate their marketing and storytelling efforts.
